Several steps are required to carry out hot stamping using our automated machines.
First of all, the design needs to be created. A plate is engraved with the design, the logo and/or the text requested. Next, an undercoat (or under-layer) is applied so that the stamping foil will adhere. After this, the plate is pressed and the decorative layer is permanently applied to the glass surface.
Once the decoration has been bonded to the glassware, the combination of heat and pressure makes the adhesive on the stamping foil melt. As such, the decorative layer is now permanently applied to the glass surface.
